The Karsten Tindal Golf Invitational is our yearly memorial fundraiser. This is a primary activity of the KTLSC non-profit. Hosted at KT’s favorite golf course in Eugene, Laurelwood Golf Course. The first annual tournament was held in August of 2019. 

Each year the tournament has grown, with friends and family traveling across the country to golf in KT’s honor. We have also added more fundraising opportunities with raffle and silent auction items.

Golf was one of Karsten’s favorite sports. He loved golf so much, he even had his handicap on his resume. As he was completing his second Master’s degree in the Sports Product Management (SPM) Program at the University of Oregon, he was on a team of 5 students to create a sports product. The team: 5FORE, their product: a breathable, light weight, water resistant golf hat. 

An annual golf tournament in KT’s honor seemed like the obvious choice. The tournament is held in August each year, so stay tuned for the next event!
