While completing a Masters in Sports Product Management at the University of Oregon, Pirate Co-Founder Michael Wells worked closely with Karsten to develop the best “performance” hat. The design has been on ice for five years, though Michaels’s company, Pirate, has recently brought this simple, functional, and beautiful hat to market.
